Our Principal

I am honored to serve as the principal of A.H. Watwood Elementary School. With over 20 years of experience as a teacher, Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) Coach, and assistant principal, I bring a deep passion for education and a commitment to student success. I value the strong sense of community that makes A.H. Watwood a special place, and I believe that high expectations, paired with meaningful relationships, help every child reach their full potential. I know that the partnership between home and school is essential, and I look forward to working closely with families to create an environment where students can learn, grow, and thrive.
